Your Life the Game is a mobile game about noticing and changing everyday habits — things like worry, procrastination, or doomscrolling — using ideas from behavioral science, wrapped in a fantasy story. While you're a tester, OpenMind AI, Inc. collects and uses:

• How you play — the in-game progress and activity the app records as you use it, plus basic technical details like device type, app version, and IP address. This includes your interactions with in-game features — for example, conversations with AI-powered characters and anything you write in shared community features — which are stored and may be read by our team. Other testers may see what you share in community features, so don't include personal or identifying details there.
• What you tell us — your answers to tester questionnaires and, if you choose to join them, our notes from focus groups or one-on-one calls.
• How to reach you — your name, email address, and mobile number.

We use this to make the game better: to see where it works and where it doesn't, to decide what to build next, and to prepare follow-up conversations so we don't ask about parts of the game you never reached.

We use service providers to run the program — for text messaging, email, analytics, hosting, and the AI that powers in-game characters (your conversations with those characters are sent to that provider to generate replies). They handle your information only on our instructions. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

This is product testing. It is not a research study, and it is not treatment or a clinical program. If we ever invite you to take part in research, that will be a separate invitation with its own consent.

The game is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

You can stop taking part at any time by emailing support@yourlife.game, and you can ask us to delete your information.

One exception, so it's clear up front: we keep a record of this agreement itself — what you agreed to, when, the contact details you used, and the internet address it came from — for six years after your participation ends, even after you ask us to delete your other information. That record is kept only to show that you agreed, and for nothing else.

We run the tester program by text message, so agreeing to texts is required to take part. OpenMind AI, Inc. will send you text messages about the Your Life the Game tester program at the mobile number you provided.

Messages come from 855-791-2019 and cover: a welcome message with your invitation link, occasional reminders if you haven't started or finished something, and a link to the tester questionnaire.

Expect roughly 2–6 messages over the few weeks you're testing. This is not a recurring subscription; messages end when the tester program does.

You're under 18, so a parent or guardian needs to say yes as well. We'll ask them directly, using the contact details you give us for them (or they can contact us themselves). Until they've said yes, you won't be added to a testing group and we won't text you.

Once they've said yes, we'll text you at the number you gave us — a few messages over the testing period: a welcome message with your link, reminders, and a link to a short questionnaire. You can reply STOP at any time to stop the texts.

• I want to take part in testing Your Life the Game.
• I'm okay with OpenMind AI, Inc. having my name, email, and mobile number, and seeing how I play — including what I say to characters in the game and anything I post in shared parts of the game — and reading my answers to the questions they ask. I know the characters in the game are AI, and that what I say to them goes to the company that runs that AI. I know other testers can see what I share in shared parts of the game, so I won't put personal details there.
• I understand this is testing to make the game better. It isn't a research study, and it isn't treatment or a health program.
• I know I can stop at any time — by emailing support@yourlife.game or asking my parent or guardian to tell OpenMind AI — and I can ask them to delete my information.
• I know they'll keep a record of this agreement — what I said yes to, when, and the contact details I used — even if I later ask them to delete everything else. That's only so they can show I agreed.
